Professional Background

I come from a background in teaching, having taught for over 20 years in a range of secondary schools in both Christchurch and Auckland.

A natural transition for me was into the counselling profession.

I have a Post Graduate degree in Counselling Theory from the University of Auckland. I am a registered member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).

For a number of years I have worked with adolescents at an Auckland secondary school. I work with a number of different cultures and a range of psychological and relationship issues.

I also have a private practice in Freemans Bay, Auckland. 

My working life has allowed me to work both with adult and adolescent clients.
